Marketing Assistant: Content Repurposing Workflow
Create once, share many ways. This four-step workflow helps you repurpose original content while keeping your voice. Every draft gets your review before anything is published.
- Best for
- Consultants, coaches, speakers, small marketing teams
- Time
- 30 minutes per piece of content
How to use it
- 1Choose one piece of your own original content: a blog post, talk transcript, podcast notes or video script.
- 2Run Step 1 to set your voice. Paste 2–3 examples of writing that sounds like you.
- 3Run Step 2 to extract key ideas, then Step 3 to draft posts for each channel.
- 4Run Step 4 to draft a short email for your audience.
- 5Edit every draft in your own words, check facts and quotes, then schedule.
Prompts
Step 1 — Set your voice
Act as my marketing assistant. Here are examples of my writing: [paste 2–3 examples] Describe my voice in 5 bullet points (tone, sentence length, words I use, words I avoid). Use this voice for everything we write in this conversation.
Step 2 — Extract key ideas
Here is my original content: [paste content] Pull out: the core message in one sentence, 5 key insights, 3 quotable lines (exact words only—do not invent quotes), and 1 practical takeaway for the reader.
Step 3 — Draft channel posts
Using those insights and my voice, draft: - 3 LinkedIn posts (under 200 words each, each opening with a strong first line) - 3 short social captions (under 60 words) - 1 carousel outline (6 slides, one idea per slide) End each post with a natural question to invite comments. No hashtag stuffing; max 3 relevant hashtags.
Step 4 — Draft an email
Draft a short email to my audience based on this content: subject line options (3), a 150-word body that shares one insight personally, and a single clear call to action: [your call to action].
Tips
- Only repurpose content you own or have permission to use.
- Keep a document of your best-performing posts and feed them back in as voice examples.
